Hey Everybody-
Christmas time is here once again, and we are preparing our gifts for all the holiday orders. We wanted to let everyone know a few things:
Guitars – If you are giving one of our guitars as a gift, they MUST be ordered by December 15 in order to have a shot a getting it to you by Christmas Day.
CDs and other Merchandise – Order MUST be placed by December 18 in order to ensure delivery by Christmas Day.
Christmas is a very special time for all of us here at Esteban Music, and we wish everyone a very special holiday season. Merry Christmas everybody!!!

I had a great time last weekend performing at the Carefree Festival, with my 2 daughters, Stephanie and Teresa. The Carefree Festival is the place that brought me back to the guitar. It is my roots of playing. You see, I was hit by a drunk driver in 1980, just after returning from Spain. I was the major setback in my life. I could not play the guitar for almost 10 years. My left arm began to come alive again in 1988. I could actually feel my fingertips, and i picked up that guitar and i was playing simple pieces by 1989. in 1990 I did my first gig, playing in an open air mall in Phoenix AZ. My 2nd gig was the Carefree Festival. I played it and other festivals every year until 1998, when I left Arizona and went on national TV.
Some of the great memories in my life emanated from these wonderful festivals. Hundreds sometimes thousands of people gather around my little band, and we just play the music from the heart. The response was always so gratifying. Rock On !! EVERYBODY !! Esteban

Esteban and his band will be performing LIVE at the Thunderbirds Artist’s Art and Wine Festival in Carefree, Arizona. The festival begins Friday, November 6 and runs until Sunday, November 8. There are no words to describe Sand Zak, because the depth of what she does to help others is beyond the beyond. Many people who read this might be skeptics about energy healing. In fact, probably the majority of the people in this world just do not believe in energy work. I am here to tell you, that I do believe in it, and I have seen some truly amazing "miracles" as many folks would call them.
This incerdible woman can heal others via the telephone. Have you ever heard of anything like that before??? Well, it is true. I have personal experiences in my own life and I have seen truly wonderful things happen in other people’s lives as well. For me not to include her in my FAVORITES would be most unjust, because she is truly MY FAVORITE of all!!
A word to the wise: if you have any personal health problems, or someone you know needs help, do not hesitate to go to her website and get a healing. In this world today, special beings come along once in a great while. Their purpose is to help others. Sandi is one of those beings. I firmly believe that HELP is just around the corner if you need it. I write this for my fans who need some help in their lives. I get nothing out of this except the satisfaction of helping others in need. This comes from my heart to yours. It is a gift to you.
This is a picture of Andres Segovia and myself taken in 1978. I had just finished studying with him in Spain and when he came back to the US later that year, we met at his hotel, The Beverly Wilshire in Los Angeles and that is where he signed his autobiography for me.
These are fond memories and I will go into detail about my studies with him in later entries. I’m also putting up a picture of the cover of the book Segovia signed for me, and the page he wrote on.
It is a tradition every year to have Mother’s Day with Esteban at Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona. Well, it just happened and it was once again a wonderful experience for all!
The Desert Botanical Gardens is one of the best attractions in the Phoenix area without a doubt.
It is a huge multi-acre compound with specimens of every kind of tree, plant and flower in Arizona. In addition, there are beautiful art exhibits there from famous artists. Represented are glass blowers, painters, sculptures and fine artists from every walk of life.
I performed with my band an 11 am brunch concert, followed by autograph signing and another 4 pm concert. The food is just wonderful and it is catered and everybody just loved it. The folks come and they bring the MOM’s dressed in every color of pink. light blue, light green and yellows imaginable. As I peer into the audience from the stage it is a fantastic array of pastels mainly, accented once in awhile by some wild red dress or bright blue bonnet.
I start off with LOVE SONGS for MOM’s. I play old standards with my Esteban arrangements. Songs such as "A Time For Us", "Al Di La" , "Can’t Help Falling in Love With You", followed by a few spirituals, "How Great Thou Art and Old Rugged Cross". Then we liven things up with some oldies like "Runaway" and "Guantanamera" and "Fuego Malaguena" (that was the song from my GEICO commercial. Check it out on my blog). We played with love for the Mother’s of the World in every song and we celebrated that special day for Mom’s in a grand manner.
The autograph lines were long and it was great fun meeting the Mother’s and signing for them. Without our Mom’s, we would all be in DEEP TROUBLE! In fact, we wouldn’t be here at all! So let’s take care of our Mothers always with a lot of love…no matter what they do!!!
